By selling the Roorkee and Noida plants (for around ₹56 crore) but retaining brands, trademarks, its Beauty Entrepreneur network, and all commercial operations, Oriflame frees up capital and management focus for sales, digital, and product innovation, yet preserves local production and supply continuity through Akums as a CDMO. For Akums, the acquisition broadens its footprint beyond pharma into skincare, wellness, hair care, and colour cosmetics, strengthening its position as a third‑party manufacturer for global beauty brands.
