Ministry of Ayush Showcases AI-Powered Digital Health Initiatives at India–AI Impact Summit 2026 

Key Highlights: 

• The Ministry of Ayush is showcasing citizen-centric AI innovations for holistic health at the India–AI Impact Summit 2026, inaugurated by Narendra Modi. Held under the theme “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya – Welfare for All, Happiness for All,” the summit focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence for inclusive growth and human-centric healthcare innovation. 

• At the Ayush Pavilion, the ministry is presenting the architecture of Ayush Grid, a digital public health infrastructure designed to integrate traditional medicine services. A key component is the My Ayush Integrated Services Portal, which connects healthcare services, education, research, medicinal plant development, and drug administration within a single digital ecosystem. 

• The pavilion also highlights emerging AI-enabled solutions such as Yoga Posture AI, computer-vision tools to help users perform yoga asanas accurately, and AI chatbots supporting research, clinical decision-making, and public health outreach across Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy. Alongside this, the IndiaAI has launched an innovation challenge with a prize pool of INR 5.25 crore to accelerate AI-driven solutions for traditional medicine and digital health. 

Implications: 

The Ayush Grid and My Ayush portal move traditional medicine closer to mainstream digital health, creating a unified infrastructure that can plug into NDHM/ABDM, telemedicine platforms, and insurer-led wellness programs over time. 
AI tools like Yoga Posture AI and Ayush chatbots can drive large-scale, low-cost engagement for preventive care, positioning Ayush as a scalable front door for lifestyle and chronic disease management rather than a purely alternative stream. 
The IndiaAI innovation challenge and prize pool are likely to catalyze a new startup and research ecosystem around Ayush+AI, opening opportunities for medtechs, health-techs, and academia to co-develop clinically validated, exportable traditional medicine solutions.
